Christians have been admonished to worship and praise God in awe and reference; when it is convenient and when in trouble and be closer to him at all times, believe in the communion of saints and remain dedicated to the end.

The Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria Anglican Communion, The Most Revd. Nicholas D. Okoh made the declaration at the dedication of Oba Moses Oyinlola Memorial Anglican Church Okuku. The event took place at the Church Auditorium along Igbaye Road, Okuku.

The Primate said that the church belongs to everybody willing to serve God, while the Church building remains a place where people will be gathering to serve God in spirit. Therefore, he urged everyone to support the Bishop of Osun North Anglican Diocese, Rt. Revd. Abiodun Olaoye as he installs a spirit filled Priest to head the church in a holy way. He added that only the Spirit of God can head the church not the Priest or the Bishop, and thus he remarked that attending church is to honour and worship God.

Archbishop Okoh said Christians praise God when they are glad and seek the face of God when they are in trouble. However, he urged Christians to remain steadfast in loving Christ and obeying His commands. Dedication according to him, means making a place holy and worthy of praise and worship thus making the place a no go area for evil spirits.

He later dedicated the auditorium of Oba Moses Oyinlola Memorial Anglican Church, Okuku to the glory of God and service to the body of Christ. The dedication started from the entrance door, to the lectern, the pulpit, choir step, prayer desk and altar, among others. Then, the Primate offered prayers for each item and blessed them for the usage to God’s glory. He also prayed for peace to reign in the household of God.

The Bishop of Osun North Anglican Diocese, Rt. Rev. Abiodun Olaoye appreciated God for His mercies and encouragement and he specially appreciated the Oyinlola family for investing in the propagation of the Gospel of Christ by building Oba Moses Oyinlola Memorial Anglican Church. He thanked all the Bishops present at the occasion especially the Primate, Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh and Archbishop of Ibadan Province, Most Revd. Dr. Segun Okubadejo. Other Bishops that attended the Church dedication are; the Bishop of Osun Diocese, Rt. Revd. James Afolabi Popoola; Bishop of Osun North East, Rt. Rev. Humphrey Olumakaiye; Bishop of Oke-Osun, Rt.
