CONSECRATION AND PRESENTATION OF A NEW BISHOP AND ARCHBISHOP.
The consecration of
the Bishop of Oleh Diocese Ven. John Usiwoma Aruakpor will take place at the
Cathedral Church of St. Stephen Ondo in Ondo State on Tuesday first of May,2012
at ten in the morning.
The consecration
service will be conducted by his Grace the Primate of all Nigeria Anglican Communion
the Most Rev. Nicholas D. Okoh with other Archbishops and Bishops in
attendance.
The Ven. John Usiwoma
Aruakpor was elected Bishop in February at the IBRU centre Agbahar - otor venue
of the yearly Bishop’s retreat. He succeeds the Rt. Rev. Jonathan Edewor who is
retiring soon.
Also the presentation
service for the new Archbishop of the ecclesiastical province of Ondo the Most
Rev. George L. Lasebikan takes place at the Cathedral Church of St. Stephen
Ondo, Ondo State on Sunday June 24th, 2012 at ten in the morning.
He succeeds the Most
Rev. Samuel Adedayo Abe who is retiring from service after attaining the
mandatory 70 years of age.
